We had our annual Christmas Beers walk around Morecambe, starting at the Ranch House at 5pm. A nice selection of festive ales on offer — Wells ‘Rudolph’s Revenge‘, Courage ‘Jubilant’ and Wychwood ‘Snow Belle‘. Blown along by the wind along the promenade, we looked in the Station, real ale, a first for me there, Green King IPA. No Christmas ales at the Kings Arms, the Royal had Green King ‘Rocking Rudolph’. Eric Bartholomew had Kirkby Lonsdale ‘Jingling Lane’, the Palatine had Gloucester ‘Priory Pale, the Joiners had Marston’s ‘Christmas Pudding ’possibly the best beer of the night. We finished at the York with a Kelham Island ‘Easy Rider’.
