Genuine, isolated free house situated away from villages on a B-road, yet enjoying regular local custom. This early 19th-century (or 1860) Grade II-listed building has a single bar with a country pub feel, high-backed bench seats, cream-painted walls and open fires. There is a separate restaurant, and terraced seating overlooking a bowling green.
